Soma Nami Books and team provides services to subject to notices, terms and conditions as set out below. By accessing, browsing, or shopping on this website, you agree to all the terms and conditions in this agreement. Please read them carefully.

Shipping

​

We will send you an email notifying you when your package has shipped. You can find your order details and tracking information (when available) on the order history page in the account section of the website. If shipment of your order is delayed, we will notify you via email.

1. Shipping charges for goods delivered within Nairobi (CBD Region) will incur a shipping cost of KSh 200 and for within the wider Nairobi Metropolitan boundary will incur a shipping cost of KSh 250

2. Goods to Nairobi will be shipped within 24 hours after receipt and clearance of an order. Note that the shipping times are estimates and not guarantees. In case these timelines are affected in any way, Soma Nami Books will advise the client accordingly.

3. Soma Nami Books will not be responsible for receiving and processing an order with an incorrect shipping address. Please check your shipping address for accuracy.

4. Soma Nami Books automatically insures any orders.

5. Soma Nami Books is unable to provide free shipping on orders that are split between multiple shipping addresses. Split orders will not be considered as a single consignment and may be treated as a multiple order, hence attract additional courier charges.

Refunds

​

You're eligible for a refund within 7 days if you're dissatisfied with your purchase due to an error on our part or if the product doesn't arrive.

1. You are eligible for a full refund of the purchase price, including original shipping costs, only if your return is a result of an error on our part. To receive a refund, you must return your item directly to us within 7 days of the estimated delivery date and in the same condition you received it in.

2. You are eligible for a full refund of the purchase price, including shipping costs, if your product hasn't arrived 10 days past the estimated delivery date. If the shipper/courier provides tracking information indicating the book has arrived, the return is void.

3. In cases where the product is returned to us for any of the following reasons, the refund price includes product price only: incomplete address, unclaimed, returned to sender, or similar.

4. Returned items should be unused and must be returned in original packaging with any enclosed documentation. We will issue a full refund on receipt, excluding the original delivery charge. Alternatively, if preferred, we will exchange the item.

5. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. Therefore, for your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.

6. The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.

7. We do not refund shipping costs MPesa or credit card fees. They will be deducted from the total amount of your refund.

8. We currently do not support cash on delivery. Full payment must be made in advance either via mobile money transfer, card payment or bank payment.

Images of people or places displayed in this Site are either the property of, or used with permission by Book of the Month. The use of these images by you, or anyone authorized by you, is prohibited unless specifically permitted by these terms and conditions or specific permission provided elsewhere on the Site or you secure the necessary permission from the rights holder. Any unauthorized use of the images may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, the laws of privacy and publicity, and communications regulations and statutes.

While Soma Nami Books uses reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information on the Site, Soma Nami Books makes no warranties or representations as to its accuracy, nor does Soma Nami Books assume any liability or responsibility for any errors in the content of the Site.
